The Companion Animal Initiative of Tennessee (CAIT) works to improve the lives of companion animals and reduce the homeless pet population in Tennessee by promoting humane education and spay/neuter initiatives.
The Human-Animal Bond in Tennessee (HABIT) provides animal-assisted activities in the state of Tennessee using dogs, cats, and rabbits and their handlers.
Veterinary Social Work Services provides individual and group based emotional support for people who are:
- Facing challenges with their animals
- Needing help with veterinary treatment decision-making
- Experiencing grief from animal loss
- Needing psychological skills during training as an animal-related professional
- Needing support and skills for thriving as an animal-related professional
