Access the Veterinary Social Work Program

Veterinary Social Work is available Monday-Friday from 10 am until 5 pm.

Your UT Veterinary Medical Center medical team may invite Veterinary Social Work to support you during your animal’s care or you can request support directly.

Former and current pet owners seeking help, support, and/or resources can call our helpline 865-755-8839 Monday-Friday, 10 am to 5 pm. If we are not immediately available we will return your call as soon as possible.

Our Pet Loss Support Group provides a supportive environment where people can share their varied experiences of grief and loss, a place to remember and honor the life of our pets, and an opportunity to learn additional ways of coping with the loss of an animal.
